Dashboard
Navigate the Vadio dashboard - from the Getting Started checklist to meeting statistics, upcoming calls, and action items.
Dashboard
The Vadio dashboard guides you from first-time setup through daily operations. It starts with a Getting Started checklist for new users, then transitions to an active dashboard with meeting history, upcoming calls, and items that need your attention.
Getting Started Checklist
For new users who haven't taken any actions yet, the dashboard shows the Getting Started checklist instead of the regular dashboard. The checklist groups setup tasks into three areas:
| Group | Steps |
|---|---|
| Start using Vadio | Start a video call, schedule a video call |
| Set up your workspace | Invite team members, set up online booking, create or review a video call checklist |
| Your settings | Configure meeting settings, connect your calendar, configure recording preferences |
Vadio completes checklist steps automatically when it detects the corresponding action. For example, connecting a calendar completes the calendar step, creating a booking service completes the online booking step, having more than one company member completes the invitation step, and starting or scheduling a meeting completes the related video call step. You do not need to check boxes manually.
The checklist is personalized. Steps depend on your permissions and enabled modules. For example, booking steps only appear when the bookings module is available and you have the relevant permission.
You can dismiss the Getting Started checklist if you prefer to use the active dashboard immediately. Dismissing the checklist does not undo any setup steps you have already completed.
Active Dashboard
Once Vadio records your first action, the dashboard switches to the active dashboard. The active dashboard adapts to your permissions and enabled modules, so not every widget appears for every user.
| Widget | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Greeting and quick actions | A personalized greeting with shortcuts to common actions |
| Meeting statistics | A summary of your meeting activity |
| Meeting history | Recent completed meetings, shown in small groups |
| Upcoming calls | Scheduled meetings coming up soon |
| Today's agenda | Agenda items scheduled for today |
| Needs your attention | Action items that require review, such as pending offers, meeting summaries to review, and records needing your input |
| New leads | Unassigned inbound CRM leads when CRM is enabled |
| Upcoming inspections | Inspections scheduled in the near future |
| Quick links | Shortcuts to frequently used pages |
Needs your attention is an action-item feed, not a complete audit log. It surfaces things you need to act on rather than providing a chronological record of all activity. The dashboard does not have one generic activity feed. Instead, activity is distributed across the widgets listed above.
Which widgets appear depends on your permissions, enabled modules, and CRM entitlement. For example, the New leads widget appears only when CRM is enabled and you can read leads.
