Direct join policy

Let trusted participants join directly is a company-wide setting, not an individual preference, and requires company settings permission to manage.

Trusted participants can skip the pre-join camera and microphone check. Signed-in members and people with personal invite links can join directly, while guests still enter their name and wait for the host.

Background

Choose a default meeting background from the background picker. Vadio applies the selected background to your camera when you join meetings.

Recording

Control whether recordings start automatically when you host different meeting types.

SettingWhat it controls
Auto-record instant meetingsWhether an instant meeting starts recording when the host joins.
Auto-record scheduled meetingsWhether a scheduled meeting starts recording after the scheduled time when someone is present.

Audio processing features, including echo cancellation, noise suppression, and auto-gain control, are enabled by default during meetings but are not configurable from the meeting settings page.

Run the microphone and speaker tests after changing your preferred devices to confirm that the selected hardware works before your next call.

Auto-record follows the same plan rule as recording: it works on Standard, Premium, or a trial. On Free or Start you can still save the setting, but nothing is recorded.
