Chain Analytics
Track order volume, revenue breakdowns, company rankings, and staffing trends across your chain - then export everything as CSV.
Chain Analytics
Filter analytics by date range to monitor executive KPIs, order volume trends, company rankings, response times, capacity utilization, revenue by labor, material, and total value, customer ratings, geographic distribution, staffing and posting trends, and CSV exports.
Analytics hub
The analytics hub organizes chain-wide performance data into three tabs:
- Overview: Review executive KPIs, order and completion trends, response times, capacity utilization, revenue, ratings, geographic distribution, and staffing trends.
- Companies: Compare member companies through rankings, activity, order volume, and revenue details.
- Staffing: Monitor staffing KPIs, posting activity over time, and ranked staffing metrics.
Use the tabs to move from a high-level view of chain performance to company comparisons and staffing analysis.
Filtering by date range
Use the filter bar to choose the period represented in the analytics. Changing the date range updates the KPIs, trends, rankings and revenue on the Overview and Companies tabs. The Capacity card always shows the current situation and does not follow the date range.
Choose one of four preset ranges:
- Last 7 days
- Last 30 days
- Last 90 days
- All time
The page opens on Last 30 days. There is no custom date range.
The filter bar also has a company filter. Keep All Companies or pick one active member company. The company filter only changes the KPIs and trends on the Overview tab. The Companies tab and the revenue, region and capacity views always show all companies.
The Staffing tab does not follow the date range or the company filter. It always shows the same staffing figures for the whole chain.
Analytics reflect data across all companies in your chain for the selected range.
Overview tab
The Overview tab gives you a chain-wide performance summary. Use the KPI strip for a quick read, then review the supporting trend cards and regional breakdowns to understand what is driving the results.
| Metric | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Executive KPIs | High-level performance indicators for the selected date range. |
| Order volume | The number and trend of orders across the chain. |
| Completion trends | How order completions change over time. |
| Response times | How quickly companies respond to activity that requires a response. |
| Capacity utilization | How much available company capacity is being used. |
| Revenue | Revenue split into labor, material, and total values. |
| Customer ratings | Rating activity and customer feedback across the chain. |
| Geographic distribution | How activity is distributed by region. |
| Staffing and posting trends | Changes in staffing-related postings and activity over time. |
Use order and completion trends together to distinguish changes in demand from changes in delivery. Compare response times with capacity utilization to identify companies that may need operational support or additional capacity.
Companies tab
The Companies tab helps you compare member companies using rankings and activity data for the selected date range.
Company rankings
The rankings table orders companies by the selected performance measure. Use it to identify leading companies, compare relative performance, and focus follow-up on significant differences across the chain.
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Company | The member company represented by the row. |
| Ranking metric | The measure used to order companies in the table. |
| Rank | The company position relative to other companies in the chain. |
| Value | The company's result for the selected metric and date range. |
Company activity
The activity table provides a broader view of how each company is performing during the selected period.
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Company | The member company represented by the row. |
| Orders | Order activity associated with the company. |
| Completions | Orders completed during the selected range. |
| Response time | The company's response-time result. |
| Capacity utilization | The portion of available capacity in use. |
| Revenue | Revenue generated across labor, material, and total values. |
| Rating | Customer rating information associated with the company. |
Select a company to review its order and revenue details. Use order data to understand activity levels, then compare labor, material, and total revenue to see how the company contributes to chain performance.
Staffing tab
The Staffing tab focuses on workforce demand and posting activity across the chain.
The staffing KPI strip summarizes the selected range so you can quickly identify changes in staffing activity. Posting trend cards show how activity changes over time, while ranked bar cards compare companies or staffing measures side by side.
Use these views to identify where posting activity is increasing, which companies contribute the most activity, and where staffing demand may require attention.
Exporting data
The Export CSV button sits in the filter bar and is shown on all three tabs. What it does depends on the tab you are on.
| Tab | What Export CSV does |
|---|---|
| Overview | Shows an "Export started" message, but no file is saved to your computer. |
| Companies | Shows an "Export started" message, but no file is saved to your computer. |
| Staffing | Downloads a CSV file with one row for each company that has staffing activity: postings, interests, and fill rate. The file does not follow the date range or company filter. |
