Course catalog
Browse the course catalog in a responsive card grid. Enroll in published courses and webinars, or manage your own course workflow if you are an author.
Authors see these tabs:
- Published
- My Drafts
- Completed
- Cancelled
Non-authors see published courses only.

Course card
Each course card shows the information you need to decide whether to open or manage the course. Enrollment status badges identify your state, while author lifecycle badges identify whether a course is a draft, published, completed, or cancelled.
Authors can see actions based on the course state:
- Manage enrollment, materials, and other course settings.
- Edit draft content before publication.
- Publish a draft for eligible learners.
- Complete a published course.
- Cancel a published course.
- Delete draft courses that are no longer needed.
Cancelling a course warns you when learners are enrolled because the cancellation sends notifications to those learners.
Course detail view
Open a course to review its schedule, enrollment state, and learning materials before you enroll or manage it.
The header includes:
- Course title
- Type: Course or Webinar
- Location or online format
- Course status: Published, Draft, Cancelled, or Completed
- Your enrollment status, such as Enrolled or Completed
The course facts include:
- Date
- Start and end time
- Location or online format
- Speaker, or the event format when no speaker is configured
- Capacity and current enrollment count
- Availability bar when the course has a capacity limit
The detail view also contains the course description, materials, and a details section with the format, location, speaker, and capacity. If you are enrolled in a webinar, the page shows the webinar join link.
Enrollment
Enroll in a published course when enrollment is available. The enrollment action is disabled when the course is full, cancelled, or completed.
After you enroll, the course shows your enrolled state. Enrolled webinar attendees can use the join webinar link from the course details. The course also shows a completion and certificate hint when completion or certificate information is relevant.
Create and edit course
Authors create courses as drafts, then publish them when the content and schedule are ready.
Enter the required course information
Enter the title, description, type, category, and start date. Choose either Course or Webinar as the type.
Add optional schedule and delivery details
Add an end date, location, webinar link, speaker, or capacity when those details apply to the event.
Link a competence type
When the competence module is enabled, select a competence type and enter its validity period in months. The linked competence is handled when the course enrollment is completed.
Save and publish the course
Save the course as a draft while you prepare it. Publish the draft when learners should be able to find and enroll in it.
You can create categories inline while editing a course. Category creation may be restricted for chain members who do not manage the shared course catalog.
The editor validates these values:
- Title, description, category, and start date are required.
- The end date must be after the start date.
- Capacity must be at least 1 when specified.
- Competence validity must be at least 1 month when specified.
Published courses support limited editing. You can change only the start date, competence type, and competence validity. All content fields are locked.
Published courses lock content editing to preserve consistency for enrolled users.
Course lifecycle
A new course starts as a draft. Authors can edit or publish drafts, and they can delete drafts that are no longer needed.
After publication, authors can complete or cancel the course. Completed and cancelled courses are not editable through the normal course editor.
Course management
Authors can manage the course after it is created. Course management includes:
- Viewing enrollments
- Filtering enrollments by status
- Bulk enrolling users
- Bulk changing enrollment status
- Adding, editing, deleting, and reordering course materials
- Managing material links and uploaded files
- Managing course categories
Use the enrollment tools to review participation and update multiple learners at once. Use the materials manager to keep links and files in the order learners should follow.
Chain course management
Chain-level course management lets parent-chain users work with courses across member companies. It is available only to the head office of a chain. Courses as a whole exist only inside a chain, so standalone companies do not have these features. Available actions include:
- Viewing the chain course list
- Creating chain-wide courses that all member companies can see and enroll in
- Inspecting eligible users across companies
- Unpublishing a member-company course from the parent chain
When the competence module is enabled, you can link a course to a competence type and set a validity period. Completing a linked course automatically creates or renews the corresponding competence record.
